Akshay Parikh

Controller, Accounting

Mr. Parikh has served as a Controller at IRA Capital since 2014, where he manages all functions of the accounting department. He is responsible for overseeing the accounting, tax, and corporate compliance for IRA Capital and its 250+ affiliated special purpose vehicles/partnerships. Mr. Parikh oversaw IRA’s implementation of Yardi accounting software to assist in the management of IRA’s property portfolio, and he is also responsible for periodic financial reporting to IRA’s management team, its lenders, and IRA’s external accounting firm. Prior to joining IRA Capital, Mr. Parikh was a lead forensic accounting consultant for Lanes Management Services, and was also a senior accountant for a large real estate development and investment company.
