Samir M. Patel

Managing Partner

Mr. Patel is a Managing Partner at IRA Capital, where he is responsible for shaping the firm’s investment strategy and managing equity relationships across various co-investment programs. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in the acquisition, financing, and development of investments totaling over $5 billion across multiple asset classes.

Mr. Patel began his career at HSBC’s Debt Capital Markets Group, working in both London and New York. He also gained significant experience at the Financial Restructuring Group of Houlihan Lokey Howard and Zukin in Chicago, where he worked on numerous restructurings, distressed mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, private placements, and corporate valuations for companies both in and out of bankruptcy.

In addition to his role at IRA Capital, Mr. Patel serves on the Board of Directors for Lantern Entertainment and Bluejack National. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Master’s in Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California.
